Are you all ready for this one?! Well ready or not Riddim-Don Magazine will be staging the first in its monthly series ‘Unplugged’ beginning on Friday, June 24 at the Mingles Night Club, 4012 Boston Road, Bronx, New York.According to conceptualizer Adrian ‘Donsome’ Hanson it all came about because he wanted to bring quality entertainment on a different scale.
“It will be in an intimate setting, fans get to be one on one with the artist of the month. It’s kind of up close and personal … and we are hoping it will be an interactive session with fans requesting the songs they want to hear,” he said.
Unplugged which will be staged every last Friday of the month will be bringing some of Reggae, Dancehall and R&B’s elite to the stage. Hanson is also reaching out to sponsors to be a part of this musically entertaining experience.
“Who loves to floss more than dancehall lovers. It is a prime target to align your products with this series,” he said. Negotiations are now in the pipeline for the inaugural staging, Hanson is not yet ready to say, but if that sly look on his face is anything to go by, we can only assume you all will be pleased.
